Armored vehicles cannot be maintained at the same level of other vehicles. Their weight distribution, upgraded vehicle infrastructure and the realities of Haitian roadways require a specialized Armored Vehicle Garage in Port-au-Prince  with international certifications. Our vehicles undergo rigorous daily checks and frequent preventative maintenance. SafeRide also has quick response motorcycle  roadside maintenance teams 24/7 to manage any rare issue that could arise.  

HALO Drivers

HALO SafeRide Drivers are recruited from specialized professional backgrounds, typically with experience in diplomatic security or similar.  These men undergo intensive training certification courses with the HALO Solutions Firm training division. Our Armored Vehicle Operators  are trained to maintain control during emergency driving and convoy situations, and to communicate effectively with outriders, security and dispatch. Our drivers also complete the HALO TECC Course (Tactical Emergency Casualty Care) and they are equipped to manage critical medical emergencies onboard.

Ballistic Armor gives your driver the ability to keep moving when they encounter a  life threatening situation. Our vehicle armor not only protects the passengers inside, but also protects the engine, fuel tank, wheels and other critical mechanical parts of our vehicles so that your ride will not be disabled while your driver reacts to leave an area of threat. Each vehicle is also equipped with wifi, TECC first aid kits, soft body armor available for all passengers , gps and live video tracking in dispatch, radio communications, fire extinguisher, and basic refreshments.  

24/7 Dispatch

Our 24/7 Dispatch and customer support team is available to assist you with your vehicle booking process, payments issues, or any other questions you may have. They are specifically trained to manage complex scheduling, logistics, fleet and driver management and emergency dispatching when needed. We monitor security and traffic conditions and help plan the best route, while monitoring for any changes and adjusting routes as needed to get your to your destination safely and on time. Our dispatchers are multilingual, and available by phone call or WhatsApp.
